A New Jersey woman is suing a Bensalem casino gaming complex and the company that owns it over alleged injuries she sustained after falling on its premises.

Lorraine Conti filed a lawsuit Aug. 11 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Parx Casino, Parx Casino and Racing, Greenwood Gaming and Entertainment Inc., citing negligence.

According to the filing, Conti was at the defendant's location on around Aug. 18, 2013, when she slipped on a wet floor when entering a bathroom stall. The suit states that the floor in the bathroom stall was mopped prior to Conti entering the bathroom and the defendants failed to warn individuals of the hazardous condition such as by placing a sign.

Conti claims she has and will continue to endure physical pain, loss of life's pleasures, medical expenses, lost earnings and earning capacity, and the inability to partake in her daily activities.

Conti seeks damages of more than $75,000, plus the costs of suit. She is being represented by attorney Kevin Riechelson of the Law Offices of Kamensky Cohen & Riechelson in Trenton, N.J.
