Couple sues State Farm Insurance alleging breach of contract

Caraccident

PHILADELPHIA – A Pennsylvania man is suing State Farm Insurance following an auto accident, alleging breach of contract after denial of coverage.

Chong To Kim and his wife Jeong Song-Kim filed a claim on Oct. 27 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against State Farm Mutual Auto Insurance Co., following an automobile accident.

Kim purports that following a vehicular collision on July 8, 2012, he sought insurance coverage for damages received. As a direct result of the accident, Kim allegedly suffered physical injuries, as well as monetary damage originating from the collision, and was unable to return to work for six months. After filing a claim for coverage of the accident-related fees, State Farm allegedly refused the requests, citing an error in Kim's employment and income report as the reason for withholding assistance, the claim states.

Kim is seeking compensation for all damages and loss of income of more than $50,000 dollars. He is represented by Attarah B. Feenane of Josel and Feenane, P.C. in Philadelphia.
