PHILADELPHIA – An automotive parts corporation is suing a New Jersey business over claims that it hasn't paid for parts delivered.

Keystone Automotive Operations Inc. filed a complaint on Dec. 3 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania against 1 800 Online Auto Parts LLC and its Vice President Todd Daugherty, citing breach of contract.

According to the complaint, Keystone entered into an agreement with 1 800 Online in August 2014 that allegedly stated that if any debt from the defendant was not paid to the plaintiff in accordance to the invoice terms, the entire amount would be immediately due to be paid by the defendant. The defendant agreed to the terms of the contract, but allegedly did not paid for any purchases for a six-month period, the suit said. Though the defendant originally kept the terms, the plaintiff allegedly is now owed more than $350,000. Keystone is suing the defendant for alleged failure to uphold the contract.

Keystone is seeking full compensation for all damages and legal fees. The corporation is represented by Brian P. Downey of Pepper Hamilton LLP in Harrisburg and by Paul J. Kennedy of the same firm in Philadelphia.
