PHILADELPHIA — An Alabama man is suing Trans Union LLC, Experian Information Solutions Inc., Equifax Information Services LLC and Enhanced Recovery Company LLC, citing alleged false credit information.

Jonathan Rodriguez filed a complaint on April 21 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against the defendants, alleging that they violated the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he has suffered damages related to his credit repayment history, financial responsibility as a debtor and credit worthiness. His applications for various loans and extensions of consumer credit has been denied due to inaccurate informations that appeared in his credit reports, the suit says. The plaintiff holds Trans Union LLC, Experian Information Solutions Inc., Equifax Information Services LLC and Enhanced Recovery Company LLC responsible because from October 2015 through the present date, the defendants have allegedly been reporting derogatory and inaccurate statements and information to third parties and using false, deceptive, misleading and unfair or unconscionable means to collect or attempt to collect a debt for which the plaintiff is not responsible. They also mixed his credit file and that of another consumer with respect to the debt, he alleges.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks compensation for all damages, attorney's fees and costs and for such other relief as the court may deem just and proper. He is represented by Mark D. Mailman of Francis & Mailman PC in Philadelphia.
