PHILADELPHIA — A New Jersey man is suing a Bucks County resident, claiming negligence and alleging that insufficient measures were taken to prevent injuries.
Teaman Hobbs of New Jersey filed a complaint on April 25 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Eugene Nemeth Jr., alleging that the Bucks County resident was negligent in a traffic collision.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on May 15, 2014, he was operating a motor vehicle in an easterly direction on West Trenton Avenue. On that same date, the defendant was operating his own motor vehicle in the parking area of 411 West Trenton Avenue, attempting to exit the parking area and turn into West Trenton, at which he struck the plaintiff's vehicle, the suit sayd. This incident caused plaintiff to suffer injury to his left shoulder, according to the suit. The plaintiff holds Eugene Nemeth, Jr. responsible because the defendant allegedly proceeded without clearance after a stop, improperly or carelessly turned into a roadway and failed to keep his vehicle under control.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant for damages in excess of $75,000, plus interest and costs of suit. He is represented by Richard B. Gelade of Richard B. Gelade Law Office in Trenton, New Jersey.
