PITTSBURGH — A former employee is suing the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Human Services, citing alleged disability discrimination, retaliation and sexual discrimination.
Roger Fallecker filed a complaint on May 23 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania against the defendant, alleging that the employer retaliated against the plaintiff for making a complaint with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that, between September 2013 and December 2015, he was treated less favorably after he filed a discrimination case with the EEOC. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible because it allegedly did nothing to prevent the plaintiff from being discriminated during the scope of his employment and instead retaliated against him by treating him less favorably and ultimately terminating him.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant plus court costs and any further relief the court grants. He is represented by Adam K. Hobaugh of Murtagh, Hobaugh & Cech in Wesford.
