Woman says motorist failed to stop at intersection

Car accident 06

PHILADELPHIA — A woman is suing another motorist, alleging negligence and insufficient measures taken to prevent injuries.

Lisa Eckman filed a complaint on June 22 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Lawrence H. Webb, alleging that Webb disregard a traffic sign and consequently hit the plaintiff's vehicle.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 25, 2015, she sustained several physical injuries when her vehicle was struck by Webb's. The plaintiff holds Webb responsible because the defendant allegedly disregarded a stop sign upon approaching an intersection and failed to yield the right of way.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in excess of $150,000 and any other damages, plus interest and court costs. She is represented by Loura Keepers of Hagelgans & Veronis in Lancaster.
