PITTSBURGH — A man is suing East Liberty Electroplating Inc., an employer, citing alleged unpaid wages and violation of wage laws.

Robert C. Phillips filed a complaint on June 30 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania against East Liberty Electroplating Inc., alleging that the employer failed to fairly compensate him for all hours he worked.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that, from 2014 to 2016, he has worked for more than 40 hours per week but was not paid any overtime wages. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible because the defendant allegedly violated the Fair Labor Standards Act.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks unpaid wages, liquidated damages, all damages and court costs. He is represented by Jason A. Archinaco and Robert A. Bracken of Archina/ Bracken LLC in Pittsburgh.
