Labor group claims employer owes contributions

Contract 05

PITTSBURGH — A labor group is suing Remco Construction Company Inc., company president Daniel L. Brunst and company vice president Clinton J. Gray, citing alleged breach of contract.

Carpenters Combined Funds Inc. filed a complaint on July 18 in U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania against the defendants, alleging that they failed to pay benefit contributions to the labor group.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages as the result of unpaid contributions. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly failed to pay monthly contributions to the labor group on behalf of their employees according to an agreement.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount of $3,604.97 plus additional interest and court costs. It is represented by Neil J. Gregorio and Jeffrey J. Leech of Tucker Arensberg, P.C. in Pittsburgh.
