Government claims debt hasn't been paid

PHILADELPHIA — The federal government is suing William G. Jamison, alleging unpaid debt.

The United States of America filed a complaint on Aug. 15 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against William G. Jamison, alleging that Jamison failed to settle his debt to the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages from the unpaid debt. The plaintiff holds Jamison responsible because he allegedly failed to pay the plaintiff for the principal amount of his debt plus interest despite the plaintiff's demands.

The plaintiff seeks the amount of $13,650.60, a filing fee of $150, interest and court costs. It is represented by Thomas I. Puleo of KML Law Group, P.C. in Philadelphia.
