Woman claims she is owed overtime pay

HARRISBURG — An employee is suing Keystone Landfill Inc., alleging violation of wage law.

Brooke Reynolds filed a complaint on Aug. 17 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania against Keystone Landfill Inc., alleging that the employer failed to fairly compensate her for all working hours.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she has worked for more than 40 hours per week without being paid any overtime wage. The plaintiff holds Keystone Landfill Inc. responsible for the alleged failure to pay her an overtime premium for hours worked in excess of 40 per week.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks unpaid compensation including interest, liquidated damages in an amount equal to 25% of the total amount of wages and benefits due, court costs and any further relief the court grants. She is represented by Michael Murphy of Murphy Law Group, LLC in Philadelphia.
