Law money 04

PHILADELPHIA — A man is suing TransUnion LLC, Experian Information Solutions Inc., Equifax Information Services LLC, Roundpoint Mortgage Company and Bank of America Home Loans, alleging negligent misrepresentation in consumer credit reporting.

Robert Buggs Jr. filed a complaint on Sept. 1 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against the defendants, alleging that they reported inaccurate information regarding his credit history to third parties.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he noticed in early 2016 that his credit reports contained inaccurate information, and he claims he has suffered damages and a substantial drop in his credit score. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly reporting derogatory and false information to third parties.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks actual damages, statutory damages, punitive damages, an order for the defendants to permanently delete all of the inaccurate information from his credit reports and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Brent F. Vullings of Vullings Law Group, LLC in Collegeville.
