Produce buyers accused of failure to pay

Late 04

PITTSBURGH — A Pennsylvania company is suing Cindy Kokowski and Brad Kokowski and their business Superior Produce Company, citing alleged breach of contract and unpaid debt.

J.E. Corcoran Company filed a complaint on Aug. 30 in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County against the defendants, alleging that they failed to pay the plaintiff for their ordered produce.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages to its business from unpaid invoices for the cost of the produce. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly failed and refused to pay the plaintiff for the produce they bought from the plaintiff.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in the amount of $37,305 plus interest, court costs and any further relief this court grants. They are represented by Kelly E. McCauley and Michael J. Roeschenthaler of Whiteford Taylor & Preston LLP in Pittsburgh.
