Ocean Spray accused of failing to pay proper overtime

Law money 10

PHILADELPHIA — A former employee has filed a class action lawsuit against Ocean Spray and John Does 1-10, alleging violation of wage laws.

Steven Colvin filed a complaint on Oct. 11 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against the defendants, alleging that they failed to fairly compensate him for all hours worked.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he worked for more than 40 hours a week without being paid any overtime compensation. The plaintiff holds Ocean Spray and John Does 1-10 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay the proper overtime premium under the law.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary damages, court costs and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Joshua S. Boyette of Swartz Swidler, LLC in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
