Dietz & Watson accused of improper pay protocol

PHILADELPHIA — A former sales merchandiser is suing Dietz & Watson Inc., claiming the employer violated wage laws.

Joseph Grabowski, filed a complaint on Oct. 18 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Dietz & Watson Inc., alleging that the employer failed to fairly compensate him.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he worked for more than 40 hours per week without being paid overtime compensation. The plaintiff holds Dietz & Watson, Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay the overtime premium required by law.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks lost earnings and owed compensation, liquidated damages, court costs and any further relief the court grants. He is represented by Ari R. Karpf of Karpf, Karpf & Cerutti, P.C. in Bensalem.
