Fannie Mae claims borrower defaulted

PITTSBURGH — A mortgage association is suing Richard Krist, a/k/a Richard J. Krist Jr., alleging breach of contract and unpaid debt.

Federal National Mortgage Association ("Fannie Mae") filed a complaint on Oct. 13 in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County against Krist, alleging that he failed to pay his mortgage to the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages due to a defaulted mortgage. The plaintiff holds Krist responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay the principal balance plus interest of his mortgage.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in the amount of $29,910.79 plus interest, court costs and any further relief the court grants. It is represented by Terrence J. McCabe of McCabe, Weisberg & Conway, P.C. in Philadelphia.
