PITTSBURGH — An individual is suing Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, LLC, individually and/or d/b/a Baymont Franchise Systems, Inc. and/or d/b/a Baymont Inn & Suites, Baymont Franchise Systems, Inc., Individually and/or d/b/a Baymont Inn & Suites and Baymont Inn & Suites, property owner, citing alleged insufficient measures were taken to prevent injuries and negligence.

Randall S. Keller filed a complaint on Nov. 21, in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania against the defendants alleging that they failed to properly manage the property and make sure that it is free of any hazards.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that, in July 2015, he sustained physical injuries due to a protruding metal on the side of the bed. The plaintiff holds Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, LLC, individually and/or d/b/a Baymont Franchise Systems, Inc. and/or d/b/a Baymont Inn & Suites, Baymont Franchise Systems, Inc., Individually and/or d/b/a Baymont Inn & Suites and Baymont Inn & Suites responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to make sure that the bed on their property are free of any protruding metal that may cause injuries to their guests.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant for compensatory damages, interest, court costs and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Peter M. Villari of Villari, Brandes & Giannone, P.C. in Conshohocken.
