PHILADELPHIA – A California consumer alleges three entities have been reporting false information regarding her credit history.

Shanika Parham filed a complaint on Nov. 30 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Trans Union LLC, Equifax Information Services LLC and Allianceone Receivables Management Inc. citing the Fair Credit Reporting Act and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she suffered damages to her credit score in the form of lost credit opportunities. The plaintiff holds Trans Union LLC, Equifax Information Services LLC and Allianceone Receivables Management Inc. responsible because the defendants allegedly issued false and inaccurate information to third parties concerning plaintiff's credit history since October.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks actual damages, statutory damages, punitive damages, court costs and any further relief the court grants. She is represented by Mark D. Mailman and Geoffrey H. Baskerville of Francis & Mailman PC in Philadelphia.
