PHILADELPHIA – A New Jersey consumer alleges her credit report contains incorrect information and that she has been damaged because of it.

Ali Burgos filed a complaint on Dec. 6 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Trans Union LLC, Equifax Information Services LLC, Experian Information Solutions Inc., Midland Funding LLC, Midland Credit Management Inc. and Credit One Financial, doing business as Credit One Bank NA citing the Fair Credit Reporting Act and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she suffered damages to her credit rating resulting in the loss of credit opportunities. The plaintiff holds Trans Union LLC, Equifax Information Services LLC, Experian Information Solutions Inc., Midland Funding LLC, Midland Credit Management Inc. and Credit One Financial, doing business as Credit One Bank NA responsible because the defendants allegedly refused to investigate plaintiff's disputes and correct the information they sent to third parties regarding her credit rating.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks actual damages, statutory damages, punitive damages, order the defendants to permanently delete all inaccurate information regarding plaintiff's credit report, plus any further relief the court grants. She is represented by Brent F. Vullings of Vullings Law Group LLC in Collegeville.
