PITTSBURGH — A half-owner of a Swissvale funeral home is suing Peter C. Nied, the other half-owner, alleging breach of contract.

Charles C. Nied filed a complaint on Nov. 3 in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County against Peter C. Nied, alleging that the Pennsylvania resident failed to participate in the inter-shareholder transaction based on the shareholder agreement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he suffered damages when the defendant did not convey his share of the business to the plaintiff. The plaintiff holds Peter C. Nied responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to follow the terms of shareholder agreements.

The plaintiff seeks to compel the defendant to perform the terms of the agreements, an order for the defendant to provide the documents needed to effectuate the transfer of title, plus any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Robert B. Stein of Rudov & Stein, P.C. in Pittsburgh.
