Nevada movie production company accused unknown parties of copyright infringement

PHILADELPHIA — A Nevada company is suing John Does 1-8, unknown persons, citing alleged copyright infringement.

I.T. Productions LLC filed a complaint on Dec. 19 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against John Does 1-8, alleging that the unknown persons distributed unauthorized copies of plaintiff's motion picture. "I.T."

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages to its business. The plaintiff holds John Does 1-8 responsible because the defendants allegedly used BitTorrent to download and distribute the plaintiff's motion picture.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks an injunction against the defendants, statutory damages, court costs and any further relief this court grants. It is represented by Charles Thomas and Lee M. Herman of Lee M. Herman in Media.
