Eisaman Contract Associates says agreement was wrongly breached

PITTSBURGH — A Pittsburgh corporation is suing Smith System Mfg. Co., based in Plano, Texas, alleging breach of contract.

Eisaman Contract Associates Inc. filed a complaint on Jan. 13 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania against Smith System Mfg. Co., alleging that the Texas corporation terminated its agreement with the plaintiff without authorization.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages to its business. The plaintiff holds Smith System Mfg., Co. responsible because the defendant allegedly breached its contractual agreement with the plaintiff by directly dealing with contacts and businesses of the plaintiff's as well as refusing to pay commissions owed.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount that exceeds $660,000 plus any further relief this court grants. The plaintiff is represented by Christopher P. Skatell of Christopher P. Skatell, Esquire in Greensburg.
