PHILADELPHIA — A Florida photographer is suing McGraw-Hill, alleging copyright infringement.

Jeffrey Greenberg of Miami-Dade County, Florida, filed a complaint Jan. 31 in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against McGraw-Hill Global Education Holdings LLC and McGraw-Hill School Education Holdings LLC, alleging they made several more copies of Greenberg's photographs than what their license with the plaintiff authorized.

According to the complaint, Greenberg suffered monetary damages from having more of his photographs used than what his permission granted. The plaintiff alleges the defendants used his photographs outside the scope of the license agreement.

Greenberg seeks trial by jury, injunction against the defendant, actual damages, order the destruction of the unlawfully used photographs, attorney fees, court costs and all further relief the court grants. He is represented by attorneys Maurice Harmon of Harmon & Seidman LLC in New Hope, by Amanda Bruss of Harmon & Seidman in Denver, and by Christopher Seidman of  Harmon & Seidman in Grand Junction, Colorado.
