PITTSBURGH — An individual is suing Craig Zotter and Stephanie M. Muick-Cervone, attorneys, alleging legal malpractice, intentional and negligence misrepresentation, unfair business practices, breach of duty and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
Rickard Briggs filed a complaint on Dec. 12 in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County against the defendants, alleging that they failed to properly represent the plaintiff in court.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he lost his personal property, visitation rights to his children and access to his financial accounts. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to provide proper representation in a divorce case filed by Kara Briggs.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages in excess of $10,000,000, interest, court costs, injunctive relief punitive and exemplary damages, and any further relief this court grants.
