Law money 13

PHILADELPHIA — A woman is suing Enhanced Recovery Company LLC, a debt collector, citing alleged misrepresentation in debt collection.

Cherie Wesley filed a complaint on Feb. 10 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Enhanced Recovery Company LLC, alleging that the debt collector improperly reported the plaintiff's alleged debt to a credit reporting agency.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in November, she sustained damages to her credit history. The plaintiff holds Enhanced Recovery Company LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to list the plaintiff's debt as "disputed by consumer".

The plaintiff seeks actual damages, statutory damages, court costs and any further relief this court grants. She is represented by Antranig Garibian of Garibian Law Offices P.C. in Philadelphia.
