Man says Borough of Wilkinsburg ended employment in retaliation

PITTSBURGH — A man is suing the Borough of Wilkinsburg, his former employer, citing alleged retaliation, violation of state law and wrongful termination.

James F. Frank filed a complaint in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County against the borough of Wilkinsburg alleging that it terminated his employment as retaliation.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he sustained damages from being terminated from employment. The plaintiff holds Borough of Wilkinsburg responsible because the defendant allegedly accuses the plaintiff of insubordination then it terminated his employment for participating in an investigation with the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant, interest, lost benefits, actual damages, reinstatement, court costs and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Sean A. Casey of Sean A. Casey, Attorney at Law PC in Pittsburgh.
