PHILADELPHIA - A Southampton software company is suing ZeoBIT LLC, Kromtech Alliance Corp., Kromtech of USA LLC and CloudMcCloud Corp., citing alleged copyright infringement.

Live Face on Web LLC filed a complaint March 21 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against the defendants alleging they allowed the plaintiff's software to be exposed to others who unlawfully used and made copies of the software.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges it sustained damages to its business because the defendants allegedly profited from having plaintiff's software infringed by unauthorized users and failed and refused to take action despite having the means to prevent the infringement.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant, to enjoin the defendant, to order the shutdown of applicable subject websites, as well as disgorgement, statutory damages of $150,000, damages in excess of $75,000, restitution, interest, court costs and any further relief the court grants. The plaintiff is represented by Vladislav Tinovsky and Joseph W. Gable Jr. of Tinovsky Law Firm in Trevose.
