Suit alleges real estate firm fraudulently colluded with buyers who intended to 'flip' home

PHILADELPHIA — A Florida woman is suing Allan Domb and Allan Domb Real Estate Inc., citing alleged breach of duty and fraud.

Sondra Busch filed a complaint on May 2 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against the defendants alleging that the real estate firm and its owner, of Philadelphia, misrepresented the value of a property to the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she was damaged financially from being induced into selling her property at a lower price. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because Domb allegedly misrepresented the real value of the property to the plaintiff in order for her to agree to sell the property to two buyers for a much lower price; the two buyers then allegedly intended to "flip" the property. Nineteen days after plaintiff's sale, the property was listed back at the original, much higher price for sale by the two buyers from plaintiff.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount that exceeds $75,000 plus court costs and any further relief this court grants. She is represented by Walter Weir Jr. and Amy R. Brandt of Weir & Partners LLP in Philadelphia.
