PITTSBURGH — A labor group is suing Allegheny High Lift Inc., alleging breach of contract for overdue payments.

Operating Engineers Local 66 AFL-CIO and Construction Industry Combined Funds Inc. filed a complaint on May 12 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania alleging that the Greensburg business failed to remit its monthly contributions to the plaintiff's benefit funds.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they were damaged financially due to the unpaid contributions. The plaintiffs hold Allegheny High Lift responsible because it allegedly failed to pay its monthly contributions to the plaintiffs on behalf of the employees they represent.
