PHILADELPHIA — An Oaks-based company is suing Dynamo Software Inc. and Daniel J. Teebagy, both of Massachusetts, alleging that the individual defendant took trade secrets to develop competing products with his new company.

SEI Global Services Inc. filed a complaint on May 15 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania alleging that the defendants misappropriated trade secrets from the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it was damaged from having its trade secrets taken. The plaintiff holds Dynamo Software and Teebagy responsible because Teebagy, who was newly hired by Dynamo after working at SEI, allegedly used his company credentials to access trade secrets of the plaintiff and provide them to Dynamo in order to compete with its products.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks for the defendants to return all documents that belong to the plaintiff, as well as pay damages, interest, punitive damages, court costs and any further relief this court grants. The plaintiff is represented by J. Kevin Fee, Jordana S. Rubel and Jane W. Wise of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP in Washington, D.C.
