PHILADELPHIA — A Texas telecommunications company is suing the Township of Haverford, Pennsylvania, a municipal entity, alleging violation of federal law.

Crown Castle NG East LLC filed a complaint on May 23 in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania alleging that the municipality refused plaintiff's request to modify its telecommunications facility.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that its business was damaged from having the request to modify the facility denied. The plaintiff holds the Township of Haverford responsible because it allegedly unlawfully refused to issue permits to the plaintiff in order for it to be able to modify the facility.

The plaintiff seeks injunction against the defendant, court costs and any further relief this court grants. It is represented by Gerald E. Burns of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC in Philadelphia.
