ERIE — A former sanitation worker is suing B&L Disposal Services; Bizzari Services Inc.; Bizzari Properties LLC; Air-Up LLC; and owner Lou Bizzari, alleging unpaid wages, violation of Workers' Compensation acts, racial discrimination and wrongful termination.

Ace Parks filed a complaint on June 7 in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against the defendants alleging that Bizzari failed to pay fair wages to him, called him derogatory and racial names, treated him unfairly because of his race and fired him in February for complaining about his behavior.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he was damaged from not being paid overtime wages and from being discriminate against. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly terminated the plaintiff as retaliation for objecting to owner Bizzari's behavior.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks all compensation owed, actual damages, punitive and/or liquidated damages, court costs and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Ari R. Karpf of Karpf & Karpf P.C. in Bensalem.
