PHILADELPHIA — A labor group and an administrator are suing Aramark Health Care Management Services LLC and Aramark Management Services LLC a/k/a Aramark Management Services LP, citing alleged breach of contract.
Pension Fund for Hospital and Health Care Employees - Philadelphia and Vicinity and Laverne Devalia, an administrator, filed a complaint on June 20 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, alleging that the defendants failed to remit their employees' monthly contribution.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they were financially damaged due to the unpaid contributions. The plaintiffs hold the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to pay their monthly contributions to the plaintiff.
The plaintiffs seek the sum of $11,340.69 plus interest, liquidated damages, unpaid contributions, court costs and any further relief this court grants. They are represented by Susan A. Murray of Freedman and Lorry P.C. in Philadelphia.
