Individuals alleged to have unlawfully distributed 'Once Upon a Time in Venice' online

PHILADELPHIA – Seven unknown Comcast subscribers are accused of unlawfully distributing copies of a Bruce Willis movie online.

Venice PI LLC filed a complaint on July 26 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against John Does 1-7 alleging copyright infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is the registered holder of copyrights for the film "Once Upon a Time in Venice." The plaintiff holds John Does 1-7 responsible because the defendant allegedly used BitTorrent to transmit copies of plaintiff's motion picture on July 8.

The plaintiff seeks to enjoin the defendants, statutory damages, court costs and any further relief the court grants. It is represented by Charles Thomas and Lee M. Herman of Creative Rights Law Group PLLC in Media.
