Warrington TGI Friday's restaurant location did not maintain safe premises, according to plaintiff

Courtgavel333

PHILADELPHIA – A woman injured at a TGI Friday’s restaurant in Warrington nearly two years ago believes the branch location did not maintain safe premises and caused her injuries, leading her to file legal action.

Natasha Gaines of Willow Grove filed suit in the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas on Aug. 22 versus TGI Friday’s Inc. of Carrollton, Texas and Sentinel Capital Partners of New York, N.Y.

Gaines explains she was walking out of the bathroom near the kitchen/bar area in a TGI Friday’s restaurant in Warrington on Dec. 4, 2015, when she was caused to be injured as a result of an allegedly defective and dangerous condition.

The plaintiff says the defendants failed to maintain the premises safely, including providing safe ingress and egress at the location, failed to use due care under the circumstances and were generally negligent.

Gaines says she suffered injuries to her left leg, as well as an acute, post-traumatic left knee contusion and internal derangement.

For a lone count of negligence, the plaintiff is seeking damages, jointly and severally, not in excess of $50,000.

The plaintiff is represented by Stuart A. Carpey of Carpey Law, in Conshohocken.
