Get Go Gas and Giant Eagle Inc. allegedly failed to take safety measures

PITTSBURGH — An individual is suing Get Go Gas and Giant Eagle Inc. for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.

Tina White filed a complaint on March 26 in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County, alleging that the defendants failed to keep their premises reasonably safe.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she slipped and fell on Jan. 8 due to a wet substance that allegedly was left on the floor, which allegedly caused her to sustain severe physical injuries. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to remove the wet substance that allegedly was left on the floor or provide adequate warning.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount that exceeds $35,000, plus court costs and any further relief this court grants. She is represented by Marc I. Simon of Simon & Simon P.C. in Pittsburgh.
