Hs

Saul Ewing Arnstein and Lehr LLP issued the following announcement on Aug. 25.

In joining Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr’s Philadelphia office, Chad Williams brings experience as an investment banker, in-house corporate counsel and corporate private practice attorney to his work advising clients on corporate, commercial and transactional matters, both domestically and internationally. He joins the firm as a partner in the Corporate Practice.

Mr. Williams advises companies throughout their growth, from formation and operational matters to merger and acquisition transactions including both buy-side and sell-side representation. He also advises senior management and boards of directors on matters relating to corporate governance, fiduciary duties, internal investigations and corporate financing transactions. In addition, he handles formation of joint ventures, strategic alliances, partnership agreements and shareholder agreements, and disputes that arise as a result of these agreements.

“We are thrilled to welcome Chad back to Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr following a hiatus during which he formed a strategic consulting and investment banking firm,” said Jack Pierce, chair of the firm’s Transactional Department. “That experience, along with his previous work as general counsel and vice president of business development for a newly formed private equity firm, contributes to his ability to advise clients on the intersection of legal affairs and business matters, including portfolio investments.”

Chad advises companies as well as investors in a variety of industries and also represents hedge fund clients in connection with the formation, operation and liquidation of investment entities. He is also an advisor to professional athletes, artists and entertainers in connection with a variety of business and legal matters.

In addition to his legal work, Chad is the co-host of The Greater Gold Leadership podcast, where he interviews leaders from a variety of fields including athletics, the military and politics. The mission of the podcast is to inspire, equip and challenge leaders toward excellence in both their professional and personal lives.

Mr. Williams earned his J.D. from Widener University School of Law and his B.A. from Franklin and Marshall College.
