PHILADELPHIA - The Archdiocese of Philadelphia was unsuccessful in an attempt to have witness interviews obtained by a private investigator withheld from a sexual assault case, accoridng to an opinion filed June 7 in the Superior Court of Pennsylvania.

HARRISBURG - The Superior Court of Pennsylvania affirmed an order from the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County that dismissed a wrongful death and survival lawsuit filed against pharmaceuticals companies Cephalon, Inc. and Teva Pharmaceuticals USA Inc., according to an opinion filed June 8.

HARRISBURG - A general accusation of recklessness will not be added to a woman’s extensive list of claims and allegations against a cheer camp where her daughter was allegedly injured after the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania removed the phrase "and recklessness" from the lawsuit in an April 24 ruling.

Estate administrator's appeal of GE and CBS asbestos exposure ruling unsuccessful

HARRISBURG - An estate executor failed to prove that General Electric and CBS Corp. were liable for a former employee’s death after being exposed to asbestos, as the Superior Court of Pennsylvania granted summary judgment in favor of the defendants in a June 12 opinion.
