Female employees sue their employer over allegations supervisor sexually harassed them

PITTSBURGH – Five female employees are suing their employer alleging sexual harassment and discrimination due to physical disabilities by a supervisor.

Donna Mackie, Brittany Fullard, Kaitlyn Wieczorek, Allysa Griffie and Libby Eber filed a complaint of Dec. 21 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania against Scott Medical Health Center PC, alleging sexual harassment and violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs all reported on one or more occasions of being violently harassed and approached in a sexual manner, so much so that it caused them distress and trauma.

The complaint states that their supervisor, Robert McClendon, frequently touched the women in unsolicited and sexually provocative ways. When the plaintiffs made it clear that the attention was not welcome, the defendant allegedly would make threats.

The complaint states that McClendon's behavior was reported but nothing was done. The plaintiffs allege that the defendant's actions were a violation of multiple laws.

The plaintiffs are seeking compensation for all damages suffered and legal fees incurred. They are represented by Edward A. Olds of Olds, Russ and Associates in Pittsburgh.
