PHILADELPHIA – A Florida couple alleges that credit reporting agencies have reported inaccurate information on their reports.
David Rosbottom and Yvonne Rosbottom filed a complaint on July 29 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Trans Union LLC, Equifax Information Services LLC, Equifax Mortgage Services LLC, Corelogic Credco LLC and Credit Technologies Inc. alleging violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they suffered damages in the form of lost credit opportunities and damages to their credit reputation. The plaintiffs hold Trans Union LLC, Equifax Information Services LLC, Equifax Mortgage Services LLC, Corelogic Credco LLC,and Credit Technologies Inc. responsible because the defendants allegedly reported false, derogatory and inaccurate information to third parties regarding plaintiffs' credit history.
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek actual damages, statutory damages, punitive damages, court costs and any further relief the court grants. They are represented by Mark D. Mailman and Gregory J. Gorski of Francis & Mailman PC in Philadelphia.
