Penn State Industries accused of not paying proper overtime

PHILADELPHIA — An employee has filed a class action lawsuit against Penn State Industries and John Does 1-10, alleging violation of wage laws.

Kelly Chase filed a complaint on Sept. 28 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against the defendants, alleging that they failed to provide fair compensation to the plaintiff for her work.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she worked for more than 40 hours per week without being paid any overtime compensation. The plaintiff holds Penn State Industries and John Does 1-10 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay the plaintiff an overtime premium that she was owed.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks compensation and reimbursement for any and all pay, liquidated damages,court costs and any further relief the court grants. She is represented by Daniel A. Horowitz of Swartz Swidler, LLC in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
