PITTSBURGH — A man is suing Giant Eagle Inc., a property owner, alleging negligence and insufficient measures taken to prevent injuries.

John Cernansky filed a complaint on Oct. 11 in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County against Giant Eagle Inc., alleging that the property owner allowed a foreign substance to remain on a floor.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 11, he sustained physical injuries from slipping and falling due to a foreign substance that was left on a floor.
