Pittsburgh Parking Authority accused of breach of contract

Contract 02

PITTSBURGH — A Pennsylvania partnership is suing Pittsburgh Parking Authority, alleging breach of contract.

Nathan Contracting L.P., for the use and benefit of Franco Associates L.P., filed a complaint on Oct. 24 in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County against Pittsburgh Parking Authority, alleging that the public entity refused to pay Franco for additional costs incurred due to the delay of a garage construction project.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered monetary damages. The plaintiff holds Pittsburgh Parking Authority responsible because the defendant allegedly failed and refused to pay Franco under the terms of an agreement.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount that exceeds the jurisdictional limits of this court plus interest, court costs and any further relief this court grants. It is represented by Michael J. Pawk of Lutz & Pawk in Butler.
