Investor claims he's owed returns from Direct Technology Solutions

PITTSBURGH — An investor is suing Robert J. Kania Jr. and Direct Technology Solutions, a Pennsylvania company and its owner, alleging breach of contract.

Francis J. Popowski filed a complaint on Nov. 8 in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County against the defendants, alleging that they have failed to follow the terms of an agreement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he sustained monetary damages as the result of unpaid investment returns and failure to be granted an ownership interest in Direct Technology Solutions. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly violating the terms of an agreement.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount that exceeds the arbitration limits of this court plus interest, court costs and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Jason M. Plakosh of Jason M. Plakosh, Esq. in Sewickley.
