GAF Materials Corporation accused of not following specifications

PHILADELPHIA — A Pennsylvania corporation is suing GAF Materials Corporation, a/k/a GAF, a New Jersey business, citing alleged breach of contract.

Berks Plant Design and Maintenance Inc. filed a complaint on Dec. 14 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against the defendant, alleging that the New Jersey business failed to follow the specifications of a quote.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered monetary damages. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly causing additional costs due to an improperly installed roofing system.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in the amount of $1,185,540.15 plus court cost and any further relief this court grants. The plaintiff is represented by Willie Pollins of Pollins Law Firm, LLC in Philadelphia.
