Solar Tight Installation accused of not paying overtime wages to installers

Law money 12

PHILADELPHIA – Several solar panel installers allege that they were not paid for overtime hours worked.

Josh Lunn, Johnny Smith, Corey Hanna, Stephen Lewis, et al. filed a complaint on Dec. 13 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Solar Tight Installation, Mark Whilhoite and Jason Topisiri citing the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they worked for more than 40 hours per week without being paid any overtime compensation. The plaintiffs hold Solar Tight Installation, Whilhoite and Topisiri responsible because the defendants allegedly did not pay the plaintiffs at a rate of time-and-one-half of their hourly wage rate for overtime work.

The plaintiffs seek compensation for all pay and benefits and liquidated damages. They are represented by Christopher J. Heavens and John F. Rooney of Heavens Law Firm in Boothwyn.
