PITTSBURGH -- Representatives of a deceased man's estate are suing Fort Pitt Classic Cars LLC, alleging breach of contract, primary estoppel, unjust enrichment, fraud, negligent misrepresentation and negligence.

Marcus Moroney and Lori E. McMaster, representing the estate of Christopher Moroney, filed a complaint on Nov. 10 in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County against Fort Pitt Classic Cars LLC, alleging the defendant has failed to live up to the terms of the contract to repair and upgrade a 1968 Pontiac Firebird convertible.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege they have suffered financial loss. The plaintiffs hold Fort Pitt Classic Cars LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to meet multiple terms of the contract and, despite the payment of a significant sum, has not returned the vehicle.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against the defendant in an amount that exceeds $35,000 plus interest, court costs and any further relief this court grants.

They are represented by Kenneth J. Hardin II of Hardin Thompson P.C. in Pittsburgh.
