Lawsuit: Post Office worker caused wreck

PITTSBURGH – An insurance firm is suing United States of America-United States Postal Service and employee Samantha Mueller, alleging negligence and insufficient measures taken to prevent injuries.

Erie Insurance Company a/s/o Snowden Associates LLC filed a complaint on Jan. 9 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania against the defendants, alleging that their employee failed to properly control her vehicle.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Erie Insurance Company a/s/o Snowden Associates LLC suffered damages on behalf of the owner of the insured vehicle, Snowden Associates LLC. The plaintiff holds United States of America-United States Postal Service and Samantha Mueller responsible because the defendant's employee allegedly failed to keep a proper lookout, causing damages to Snowden Associates' insured vehicle.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in the amount of $13,816.58 plus interest and court costs. It is represented by Douglas G. Aaron of Aaron & Prince in Philadelphia.
