PHILADELPHIA — Labor funds have filed a class action lawsuit against T&G Construction Inc. d/b/a T&G Construction, citing alleged breach of contract.

Industry Advancement Program, Cement Masons' Union Local No. 592 Political Action Committee, Cement Masons' Union Local 592 of Philadelphia, and Bill Ousey filed a complaint on Feb. 8 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against T&G Construction Inc. d/b/a T&G Construction, alleging that the employer failed to make monthly contributions per an agreement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they sustained damages due to unpaid and late paid contributions. The plaintiffs hold T&G Construction Inc. d/b/a T&G Construction responsible because the defendant allegedly breached a bargaining agreement with the plaintiffs.

The plaintiffs seek contributions due and owing, liquidated damages, interest, court costs, and any further relief this court grants. They are represented by Maureen W. Marra of Jennings Sigmond, P.C. in Philadelphia.
