Woman says ABB Inc. broke agreement

ERIE — A woman is suing ABB Inc., a North Carolina corporation, citing alleged breach of contract.

Lisa McLallen d/b/a Phoenix Research filed a complaint on Feb. 10 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania against ABB Inc., alleging that the North Carolina corporation refused to pay the plaintiff her commission.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she suffered damages from not being paid commission for the value of unclaimed shares. The plaintiff holds ABB Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly refused to remit payment to the plaintiff for a commission.

The plaintiff seeks compensatory damages, interest, disgorgement, reimbursement, court costs, all in excess of $75,000, and any further relief this court grants. She is represented by Nicholas R. Pagliari and Jamie R. Schumacher of MacDonald, Illig, Jones & Britton LLP in Erie.
